I put Puffin to sleep for the rest of the winter today and dewinterized the Coyote Beach trailer. Fridge, stove, heater?, hot water tank and water pump are all working, Yeah!!! Need the heater for those cold nights in the northern California mountains on the way down. And, yes, the chains are loaded even if I wont use them. We have a reservation on the MV Coho from Victoria, BC to Port Angeles, WA. Sunday Jan. 3 for the 4PM sailing. Tomorrow I will start loading the toys etc. We're really looking forward to seeing all our Coyote Beach friends again, and wow, Chris and Bessie have an awesome new sailing machine. He's going to have to give me and my Walker Bay a huge handicap at the first annual Coyote Bay Regatta. Jeeeez, gotta figure how to get the Hobie down there. I've heard that Steve and Nan are bringing a sailing dingy with them this year and should be arriving about the same time as us. The races are on!!!
This is "Puffin" at anchor in Waiatt Bay, Octopus Islands near Desolation Sound last summer.
i Feliz Ano Nuevo!!

Speaking of the Hobie, "Plumcrazy" is resting in my backyard. I have promised her that next summer I will leave her at the Yacht Club and sail her. I have already made arrangements for her summer storage.
Here is "Plumcrazy" flying a hull on Nicola Lake near Merritt, BC with our friends Eric and Jan aboard.
